Into The New Year - Babes In Black ** Giveaway Closed**

Black is absolutely essential in a mommy's wardrobe. Of course all the reasons non-mommies desire it are still a part of our love affair: it's flattering and goes with anything! But after you become a parent, you appreciate black for another reason: it's mommy's best form of camouflage. No, you won't find me crouched beside the entertainment center trying to blend in (although the thought has crossed my mind), but you will find me hiding the peas from lunch that were thrown instead of eaten. Little man has enough wardrobe changes during the day, and if I wore light colours and changed as often as he did, the laundry machine might go on strike - not to mention the backlog that would build up. Instead, my trusty black shirt gets a swipe of my hand, and if its lucky a brush from a damp cloth, ready to face the next thing that is literally thrown at it!

But wait, wouldn't life be easier if Little Man had a little black onesie to go with my little black dress? I wouldn't have to fight to keep his wardrobe stain free! Not just the food stains - mamas you know the stains I'm talking about. The lettering held up beautifully, and his new black duds still look as fresh as when they first arrived!
