Into the New Year - Baby Boomba **Closed**

Marina had the same problem that many mommies face - a colicky baby. If you've been there (oh and I have!) you know that the crying only stops when your walking starts. Holding is not enough, you have to be standing and in motion! Baby Boomba was born out of her need to find stylish, and more importantly, functional baby carriers to help with her little one's baby wearing demands. Mamas know the department store varieties just don't cut it when it comes to long term comfort, so Baby Boomba offers you wraps, pouches, slings, and even traditional mei tai's to cover all of the baby wearing possibilities.

After helping other mommies find the babywearing best, Marina and Baby Boomba expanded into their own line of nursing covers, blankets and onesies.

Their nursing covers are appropriately named Hideouts, and are made "for moms who wanna hideout, not hangout!" Incredibly versatile, they can also be used for a light blanket - and when your little one is older, Marina suggests offering one to your husband as a man-bib on Thanksgiving! Now that's recycling! All joking aside, Hideouts are sure to match your style! Why? They're offered in four different collections: signature (cotton), couture (cotton), earth (organic), and mei li (silk!). Their organic options are made from organically grown bamboo that is finished to the feel and look of mercerized cotton or viscose, and 100% organic, unbleached, chemical-free, Kona Cotton. What's better, with prices starting at $25CDN (that's right, my American friends with the awesome exchange rate, take note!) the Hideouts also come with a matching burp cloth!

Baby Boomba's next offering is their line of Eco Blankies. At just $35CDN these blankies are hand crafted by Baby Boomba and made from double layer Bamboo Fleece. Have you heard of the virtues of bamboo yet? If not, here's some information provided on Baby Boomba's site:

"Bamboo is sustainable and 100% naturally grown. It is perfect for any baby's sensitive or allergy prone skin! It thrives naturally without using any pesticides or fertilizers and is 100% biodegradable. As the fastest growing plant in the world, bamboo grows to its maximum height in about 3 months and reaches maturity in 3-4 years. It absorbs and evaporates sweat in a split second and doesn't stick to baby's skin. It’s extraordinary natural breathability keeps your baby comfortable and dry for longer."

If going green is on your New Year's resolution list, bamboo fabric is a must!

If it's a unique, and totally adorable, onesie you're after, Baby Boomba has Organic Onesies that come with DIY heat transfer graphics. First you choose either organic cotton, or their bamboo blend, then comes the hard part: choosing one of their hilarious and oh-so-cute graphics. Seriously, I LOVE every one of them! Right now I would choose the "Thanks, but mommy doesn't need anymore advice." Which one is your favourite?

Buy it: Featuring quality products with organic options and offering them all at affordable prices, what more could you ask for? Let's support this mompreneur and her Canadian business! Those coming from the US, keep in mind the great exchange rate!

Win it: Marina at Baby Boomba has generously offered our readers the chance to win a Button Style Chocolate Organic Hideout! How can you win? Simply visit Baby Boomba and let me know what your favourite product and fabric is (or onesie design)! Please choose something different than the comment above yours - these amazing sponsors deserve your visit!
